iifa, iifa for a whole week our country's main headline was that. To say my perspective about it, i think it was a very well organized event whatever the cost maybe. Some politicians and people would have said that the big stars were absent and because of that reason the event was unsucessful. To say the truth I totally disagree with above idea. I say eventhough the big stars were absent, the other stars were totally enough to add glamour and beauty to the event.

But as Sri Lankans we should all be grateful for stars of the bollywood industry for coming to our country and showing their support to us. We should also appreciate the fact that they helped to build a fund to support for the Tamil people who were displaced by the 30 yr war. And let me say that this was also a special for all Sri Lankan fans of bollywood to see the stars from their own eyes in what ever way. And we were able to say that the response from bollywood stars to this event's organizing was at its highest.

But I must say this, I think the biggest factor which marveled bollywood stars was our hospitality and love for them. Our society which always follows the Indian cinema very closely have children raised up knowing about them. The response from them towards our love to them was purely evident from their faces. So let us say that may those people come to our land again, and may us pay them repect and our love, give up the old criticism. What is good will always be good. I think eventhough the event has ended I think it will have a positive impact on our country from every side, I hope it will include the film industry, because 95% of our productions always sucks.
